David Thorne Scott teaches and performs jazz, classical and pop music in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Dave got his start singing with Grammy-nominated arranger and pianist Phil Mattson. Since then he has performed with Kevin Mahogany, Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan, Cheryl Bentene (Manhattan Transfer), and Tim Ray (Lyle Lovett). He is an Assistant Professor in the Voice department at the Berklee College of Music and teaches vocal jazz at the Rivers School. His solo jazz CD, entitled Shade, was selected as one of the Best of 2004 by the Jazz Education Journal. He also sings in the vocal group Vocalogy. Click here for Dave's performance website.
